PS Whippingham
Paddle Steamer Whippingham. The PS Whippingham was built in 1930 by Fairfields of Goven for the Southern Railway. She served on the Ryde to Portsmouth route until she entered war service, taking part in both the Dunkirk Evacuation and later the Normandy Landings.
She returned to service to and from the Isle of Wight after the war before being scrapped in 1963.
